Chapter Title[]

Hiyori was an illusion created by Koharu's loneliness.

End of volume 6[]

This is the final chapter of the 6th volume.

Synopsis[]

Koharu is beaten. Tsuruoka reveals the truth about her talent. Hiyori was an illusion as well as Nana's wound. Hiyori was created by Koharu because she was extremely lonely during her childhood. Koharu is in denial but she's convinced by Nana that her sister truly existed. Tsuruoka tries to make Nana kill Koharu by giving her a gun. Moe ends up taking the gun because of Nana's doubts. Nana decides to take the gun from Moe and ends Koharu's life herself. She did that because Sachiyo asked her to take care of Moe a while ago.

Long Summary[]

Moe was a little worried about Nana because it seemed like Nana was talking alone in the cafeteria. So, Moe followed Nana. Tsuruoka suggested that it must have been an illusion. He explains that her talent can make people see illusions. Tsuruoka then tells Nana to check her wound. She realizes that the wound itself was an illusion. Koharu starts worrying. Tsuruoka declares that the existence of Hiyori, who Koharu thought was her twin sister, was also an illusion, and did not exist from the beginning. He adds that Hiyori would do anything Koharu says, and suddenly appear and disappear.

Koharu is in denial but Tsuruoka reveals more details about her talent. Koharu was lonely during her childhood which made her see illusions. She was able to make large crowds of people see illusions. However, she didn't understand her own talent. Koharu, who is having a mental breakdown, thinks about her memories of Hiyori. Nana realizes that she was foolish to think that she could outsmart Tsuruoka.

Koharu asks Nana if Hiyori is gone. She apologizes to Nana for stabbing her. Nana doesn't know what to do. Koharu asks Nana if Hiyori was really an illusion. Nana approached the dejected Koharu in front of her, held her left side, and assured her that Hiyori was here[1]. Koharu is now crying in happiness. Koharu believes that she could have been friends with Nana.

Tsuruoka is furious at them. He grabs Nana by the chest and forcefully stands her up. Nana says that she thought that respecting strong people was Tsuruoka's style. As he lets Nana down, he pulls out a gun. He hands it to Nana saying that finishing Koharu off is showing respect. Nana hesitates to take the gun. Tsuruoka decides to give it to Moe. He says that he'll let Moe see her grandmother once this ends.

Tsuruoka tells Moe that killing an enemy of humanity is the right thing to do. He adds that he's sure that Sachiyo[2] would be happy. As Moe pulls the trigger, Nana deflects the gun. Koharu wasn't reached by that first shot.

Since Sachiyo asked Nana to take care of Moe, she decided not to let Moe get her hands dirty. So, Nana pulled the trigger herself, finished off Koharu. Tsuruoka says he'll handle the rest but Nana turns around, and points the gun at Tsuruoka. She wants answers from him. Tsuruoka had promised to tell Nana the truth a while ago.
