Moe Part 7 (モイ パート セブン, moe pāto sebun) is the 61st chapter of the Munou na Nana manga, written by Looseboy, and illustrated by Iori Furuya.

Synopsis[]

Nana is suspected of murder but she still goes out of the school with Sachiko to buy some shoes and a bike. Sachiko teleports them away from the store to the place where Takeo died. Nana makes her ride until they arrive at Jin's house. Nana splits up with Sachiko and asks Jin for help because she's preparing to use "force" since she can't disprove the multiple pieces of evidence against her by Daisuke. Nana thinks Moe seeing Takeo's death but not coming to school to say anything about it could also be used to incriminate her. At the end of the chapter, Moe asks her grandmother to come to eat breakfast. The chapter ends with Moe screaming "Grandma" repeatedly.

Long Summary[]

On the cover, Moe is going to her grandmother's house not accepting that she died.

Going out with Sachiko[]

As Nana and Sachiko leave the school, Daisuke tries to prevent Nana from leaving the school. He then reminds Nana that she's a suspect for the murder of Takeo. Nana stays calm and explains to Daisuke that even if he's the new class leader since she stepped down, he didn't acquire enough trust from the other students to have her locked up. Daisuke accepts this fact and asks Nana what's the flashlight on her hand for. She quickly hides it.

Shopping[]

Nana then goes to a hardware store with Sachiko. As they're looking for shoes, Nana asks Sachiko to teleport them once they're done buying things. Sachiko is discouraged since everyone asks her that. Nana takes some running shoes. However, Sachiko wants her to buy something cuter. After Nana explains that the shoes she picked are cool because they glow at night, Sachiko questions Nana's idea of "cool." A bit later, they search for bikes. Sachiko starts riding one. A random employee then tells them to stop riding bikes inside the store. Nana then implies that they'll ride home with what they have.

Conversation Outside[]

Sachiko teleports away from the store with Nana. Nana talks about how surprised the employee must be. Sachiko says that Nana will have to pay 700 yen the next time an event like this happens. As Sachiko is riding past the location where the "accident" causing Takeo's death took place, she asks Nana where she wants to go, and why she would buy shoes and a bicycle anyways. Nana says that she wants to run away because she thinks she'll be killed once Moe comes back to school if she stays nearby there. Sachiko points out that Moe might have witnessed the accident. Nana also explains that if they know Moe witnessed the death but didn't say anything, it could mean that she's covering for Nana, her close friend. [Kyouya doesn't believe Nana killed Takeo because that would mean she left a lot of evidence but Moe not talking about what she saw that night would still be enough evidence from Daisuke's point of view to incriminate Nana]. Sachiko is surprised by Nana considering Moe as a friend because she describes Moe as "happy-go-lucky", and uses as an example the moment when Moe treated her like she was the culprit during the Kiyomi's incident. Nana defends Moe by saying that she treated her like a culprit at some point. Sachiko admits that Nana has a great relationship with Moe. Nana adds that she leans on Moe heavily.

Meeting with Jin[]

They stop in front of Jin's dwelling. According to Nana, the original owner went bankrupt so the house changed owners a lot of times. She adds that the state planned to develop it into an industrial area, but due to lack of funds, they didn't make any changed to the area. Sachiko questions Nana about who lives there, and Nana answers that some delinquents come there at night. Sachiko tries to offer her help to Nana who declines and she says that she's actually meeting a delinquent here. Sachiko is choked and she asks Nana if she's joking. After Nana splits up with Sachiko and enters the warehouse, Jin is offended by the fact that Nana called him a delinquent. Nana asks Jin for help so he immediately realizes that Nana is once again, a suspect. Since Nana can't disprove the evidence against her, she says she's going to use force. Nana also says that Daisuke's powers are powerful, Jin answers by saying that talented individuals often exaggerate or misunderstand their own powers. Jin accepts to help Nana, and he says that he has learned something by observing Tsuruoka. Nana notices that it's been a week since Moe hasn't returned from home which means that she's very sad and Nana assumes that her grandmother died. Nana says that she wants to welcome Moe warmly. Jin is asking Nana if she wants to comfort Moe the same way Michiru comforted Nana when she thought she was responsible for her parents' deaths. Jin adds that he doesn't trust Moe. Nana responds by saying that Jin doesn't seem like the type of person that has friends. Jin tells Nana that she just wants to "get lost" in calling Moe an ally/a friend. Nana simply answers with "yes". She adds that she thought Michiru's kindness was just an act at first. Jin concludes that neither of them has many friends.

Moe's house[]

The scene shifts to Moe's house. When she's done eating, Moe wants to go back to school after eating to pick up her stuff and say goodbye to everyone. So right after Moe makes breakfast, she asks her grandmother to come (Moe doesn't accept her death). When she doesn't see or hear her, she starts panicking. The chapter ends with a Sachiyo frame, her not being home and Moe screaming "Grandma".
