Moe Part 9 (モイ パート ナイン, moe pāto nain) is the 63rd chapter of the Munou na Nana manga, written by Looseboy, and illustrated by Iori Furuya.

Synopsis[]
Everyone is looking for Nana who vanished. Daisuke uses that to incriminate Nana while Kyouya reveals his suspicions about whether or not Daisuke tells the truth about his powers. Kyouya says what he thinks the perpetrator is going to do. Moe realizes that her grandmother is dead but she still denies it. She then has an altercation with Daisuke. A fight starts between the two. Daisuke ends up choking Moe until she's on the verge of death. He believes she looks better than before he choked her. After Daisuke stopped attacking Moe, he assumes that they're now friends. He then asks Moe to pick between Nana and the military. Meanwhile, Nana was having dinner with Jin. They're discussing luring Daisuke. Nana receives a call from Moe. This is odd because Nana only gave her phone number to Tsuruoka. Nana was hiding to try to lure Daisuke away. Now, she wants to go see Moe. Jin wonders why would Nana allow Daisuke to lure her out instead.
Long Summary[]
Nana disappears[]
The students are looking for Nana who suddenly disappeared. Daisuke meet up with Fuuko and Kyouya. He tells them that Nana is the culprit, that's why she ran away. Kyouya points out his doubts about Daisuke's lightning. Daisuke deduces that Kyouya came up with a theory. Kyouya confirms Daisuke's hunch.
Kyouya believes that the criminal is too scared to show off his/her thinking. Kyouya is hoping the perpetrator will get into a police car and start playing Indian roses, but he's afraid the culprit gets violent. This surprises Daisuke. He asks Kyouya how can he be scared if he's immortal. Kyouya stares at Fuuko and declares that it's scary. He then tells Daisuke to go. As he's leaving, Daisuke asks them to look for Nana for once.
Fuuko asks Kyouya if he thinks Daisuke is lying about his talent. Kyouya says he didn't get to see it. Fuuko states that if Kyouya has been on the island as long as Koharu, he should have seen what Daisuke is capable of.
Moe's acceptance[]
Moe kept sending emails to her grandmother. She realizes her grandmother's death. She tells herself that her mother didn't die. She decided that she'll go back home. Moe believes her grandmother is waiting for her to make some delicious meatballs. When Moe left her room, she found a dish that Nana made. At that moment, Moe remembered Nana's gentle smile, but soon she remembers Tsuruoka's threats[1]. Moe mumbles that it was Nana who betrayed her and Tsuruoka and that Tsuruoka came to visit her grandmother when she was in trouble and did many things for her, but Nana did nothing for her.
The battle[]
Moe hears a sound. She turns around and sees Daisuke. He was applauding and smiling. He said to Moe that she doesn't understand well. Daisuke believes that when choosing a friend, the most important thing is it does to you. Daisuke then kicked off the dish that Nana made for Moe.
Daisuke pushes Moe against the wall and asks her to be his friend. He presses her. Moe tries to push Daisuke away, but Daisuke slaps her cheek. At that moment, Moe glares at Daisuke and quickly crouches behind him. Moe then puts a string around his neck and puts a lot of effort into it. Then Moe puts the cord around his neck and puts some strength into it.
However, at that moment, Moe's mind went back to Nana's words, "I'm telling you to kill him easily, but later you might regret that you did something irreversible. As a result, Moe, who was afraid to kill Daisuke began to tremble. Daisuke then punched Moe in the jaw. Daisuke then chokes Moe as she falls and threatens to keep her alive only if she becomes his friend. As Moe suffers, unable to breathe, the image of her grandmother on the verge of death comes to her mind. Facing death, Moe is so filled with fear that she almost loses consciousness, but Daisuke lets go of her neck.
Daisuke gazed at Moe's frightened face and murmured with satisfaction, "You're looking better than before. He then says that they're friends now and that there is a price to pay for safety. As a price, he asks Moe to lie and say that she saw Nana kill Takeo, but couldn't tell him because they were good friends. Moe is confused, but Daisuke intimidates her and threatens her further. He told her that Tsuruoka had told him to train Moe so that she would never betray him again, and that if she did what he asked, he would take care of her living expenses.
Daisuke asks Moe to pick a side. Nana, whom she ran away from, or the military who can guarantee her future. Daisuke says that even a monkey can tell which one to follow. When asked by Daisuke, Moe finally gave in to his demands and asked, "What should I do?"
Nana's whereabouts[]
Meanwhile, Nana was having dinner with Jin. However, Nana is so worried about Moe that she can't finish her meal. Jin asks her if the battle is about to be settled. Nana says that if they can lure him to the warehouse where he helped her the other day, they have a good chance of winning. Nonetheless, Daisuke is too cautious to come to that place alone at night.
Jin then pointed out that it was Nana who was naive. Jin says that in the past, Nana was relentless in her killings, which made her enemies desperate and could lead them to make mistakes. When Nana hears this, she murmurs that this is helpful. Just then, Nana receives a call from Moe on her cell phone. The caller wanted to talk to Nana and asked her to come to the crime scene.
Nana tries to go there immediately, but Jin stops her and asks her if she gave her phone number to Moe instead of her senior[2]. But Nana denies that she has told anyone about it, thinking that it could make her look vulnerable or get her involved in a conflict. The only one who knows is Tsuruoka, she told him. Jin says, "That would be strange," to which Nana replies, "You're absolutely right." Nana hid herself to lure out the enemy, but she is about to be lured out since she wants to go see Moe. Jin wonders why would Nana allow Daisuke to lure her out instead.
