Time Travel Part 1 (タイムリープ パート ワン, たいむりーぷ ぱーと わん, taimurīpu pāto wan) is the 72nd chapter of the Munou na Nana manga, written by Looseboy, and illustrated by Iori Furuya.

Nana has a roommate called Shizuka. In the morning, Kyouya brought Nana outside. While Nana was trying to figure out if Kyouya was pretending to not know her, Fuuko appeared. She’s following Kyouya around trying to give him a paper bag containing his diary. Kyouya thinks that she wants to bribe him and runs away. Nana goes to the house of Fuuko, who was angry because she thought that Nana betrayed them. Nana ends up convincing Fuuko that she is on her side. Nana promises to do everything in her power to bring Kyouya his memories back and get him to their side. Nana tells Fuuko that she plans on getting everyone out of there. Fuuko then bursts into tears and begs Nana to save them. Chapter 71
Synopsis[]
Nana starts reading Kyouya’s journal. She learns a lot about what he thought. Nana thinks that she has to be careful who she shows these to. What’s written in this journal could be seen as Nana and Kyouya planning to start a rebellion at this camp. Nana gets back to her room and sees Shizuka, her roommate. Shizuka starts suspecting Nana. When Nana wakes up, she realizes that Kyouya’s notebook is missing, she is wearing her solitary confinement uniform instead of her watchman uniform, and her clock indicates that it’s August 1st, but it should be August 2nd. Kyouya enters the room as Nana is changing herself, and tells her that she’s slacking on her first day. However, Nana thinks that it’s her second day. The events of August 1st[1] happen again until Fuuko runs. Nana realizes that she has been brought back to yesterday, and Shizuka reveals to Nana that time traveling is her talent. She plans on making Nana repeat August 1st all over again until she gives herself away. Shizuka was still suspicious of Nana.
Long Summary[]
Nana starts reading Kyouya’s journal. He had noted that Sachiko killed Takeo, that he didn’t know why she was conspiring with Daisuke, and that her talent is terrifying. This journal was written prior to the explosion. Kyouya had also shown concern about the army and Tsuruoka. He noted that he must protect his friends which were Fuuko, Sachiko, Moguo, Seiya, and Nana. Kyouya also noted that he’ll forget his friends, but they’ll remember him, so his friends are the proof that he lived. Kyouya had planned on working with Nana to fight the army. Nana thinks that she has to be careful who she shows these to. What’s written in this journal could be seen as Nana and Kyouya planning to start a rebellion at this camp.
Nana gets back to her room and sees Shizuka, her roommate. Shizuka asks Nana where she has been in the middle of the night. Nana answers that she was out on patrol. Shizuka points out that it’s Nana’s first day and she’s already working so hard. She then asks Nana what’s inside of her bad. Nana says that it’s nothing important, so Shizuka takes her bag by force. There were only flowers inside. Nana had hidden Kyouya’s notebook by scotch taping it behind her. Nana realizes that Shizuka is a diligent watchman. Shizuka, who went to bed, tells Nana that she is suspicious because she put flowers in a paper bag instead of carrying them in her hands.
Shizuka says that six months ago, a watchman helped the talented by exchanging letters with them. They were planning a rebellion. Shizuka had snitched on them. Nana asks Shizuka if she’d like to search her. Shizuka says that they can keep doing this until Nana gives herself away. Nana doesn’t understand what Shizuka meant by “this”. Nana then went to sleep.
Kyouya had told Nana that he’d come get her every morning at eight. It was 7:46. Nana plans to show Kyouya the notebook once they’re alone. Nana realizes that the journal of Kyouya went missing. Nana realizes that she’s wearing the same uniform as when she was in solitary confinement. She is certain that she went to bed in her watchman uniform. Today should be the second of August, but it’s the first. Kyouya enters while Nana was changing herself. He says that Nana is already slacking on her first day. Shizuka is smiling from her bed.
Kyouya explains the watchman’s job. Nana thinks that something’s wrong. Nana asks Kyouya if today is her first day. Kyouya is confused, as he’s convinced it’s her first day. They meet Fuuko again. Nana realizes that it’s as if she had returned to yesterday. Shizuka arrives behind Nana and asks her if she has ever heard of time traveling. Shizuka had used her talent on Nana, so only the two of them feel like today is yesterday.
