Description[]
The island(島, しま, shima) is the main setting of the manga, everything happens there. It is often referred to as a training camp for the talented. All external contact is fully prohibited by the school, as in reality, the island is a scheme elaborated by multiple governments to kill the enemies of Humanity.

This place seems isolated from the rest of the world.
History[]
5 years before the events of the story, a group of talented students killed each other because of conflicts. Jin was the only survivor since he could disguise. The government declared that he heroically died fighting the enemies of humanity. Jin realized that the mainland was too dangerous for him. So, he decided to live on the island temporarily.
Since the chapter 40, everyone left the island.
Trivia[]
- The timespan between Nana and Kyouya joining the school and all of the students leaving the island is a mere two months.
- According to Nanao, the cafeteria, tuition, dorm water and utilities, are covered by the state. In addition, the students there are also given a small stipend.
